Guar gum powder, versatile binding and thickening agent

The guar seeds are dehusked, milled and screened to get the guar gum powder. It is used in variety of industry due to its many ideal qualities, but mainly used in the food industry as an emulsifier or stabilizer. It is also used as a thickening agent, gelling agent, binding agent, fracturing agent in the various industries. It is also used in textile, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, health care, construction, mining, cosmetics, paper, oil and well drilling and many more.

India is the largest guar gum powder producing nation in the world. We produce more than 80 % of the total production of guar gum powder.

The useful quality of guar gum powder is its ability to hydrate quickly in cold water. It makes uniform and high viscosity at low concentrations. It is versatile and economical natural polymer. Its shelf life is very long. Guar gum powder is highly absorbent in nature. When mixed with oil-based and water-based products, it helps to decrease separation.

Guar gum is available in various viscosity ranges.  It hydrates immediately. The guar gum powder is used for oil well drilling. In well drilling instantaneous high viscosity and quick hydration is required. Guar gum powder provides required   viscosity and hydration.
